It seems that our demo tape drop box has been stolen. Someone obviously couldn't resist the birght, neon green packaging.
Many people has been asking us to put a tagboard on this blog so they can join in THE LABEL's frenzy for crapological crap.
We are in midst of doing it, please be patient.
You all should have heard by now that we are producing a compilation album and are looking for musicians. All bands and solo artistes from all genres are welcome.
This album will be sold in NP and at local music stores, with selected tracks being played on radio.
So far, we have a couple of bands and singers already signed with THE LABEL. From the looks of it, the album is shaping up to be some real good shit. So if you want to be part of this guaran-damn-teed kick-ass album, hurry the hell up and contact our GM, Jessel, now at 91017230. Alternatively, you can drop a demo of your songs into our box, located outside our office at Block 52, #07-06.
In other news, THE LABEL is also looking for part-timers to join our team and help us with the marketing and promotion of the album. We'd prefer if you are skillful at design softwares such as Flash and Photoshop. CCA points will be given generously.
Do look out for our new print ads which will be up around the NP campus soon. They should keep you occupied (and entertained) while waiting for the super-slow, over-crowded lifts and take your mind off being late for class for a while.
Have a good day, everyone.

THE LABEL.
(By the way, I just calculated. Tong Wai and Jessel will have to drink about 90 cans of Coke to fill up the entire shelf. Sorry I can't contribute, guys; I'm training for Strongman 2008 in January, so I gotta watch my diet.)
Our kick-ass sound system (notice the TV and the PS2 hooked up to it - not that we have a lot of time to game.)
Being guys, we don't stock food up; we simply eat them all. Hence, our "pantry" looks like that:

Yes finally THE LABEL has its own blogspot to blog about. I'm sitting in the office alone now, since everybody is gone. (In case you are wondering, our office is at #52-07-06.), typing away on the REALLY WOLS Mac.
Keith told me to blog about my job in THE LABEL, minus the slacking parts. so i guess this will be a really short entry.
In simple words, the job of the studio engineer in a recording label is to record, mix, burn the CD then throw it to Keith to sell. But here at THE LABEL, sometimes I also will kana arrow to do other things.
For example
Today, I went around the FMS block looking for a box. In the end, I just took one nice looking one that I found in the TSOs office. After that, I wrap it with nice looking paper that Auntie from the Atrium wrap sandwiches with(low budget low budget) and wawla, we got a nice looking demo CD drop box.
This is not a rubbish bin - dont throw your char siew bao plastic wrapper there ok.
So there, this is one of the things I do at THE LABEL besides recording good music.
Greetings,
This is Keith Wong, the (unofficial/self-proclaimed) Marketing Director of THE LABEL. My namecard actually states Marketing Manager, because well, the school doesn't need so many "directors", if you get my drift. However, since this is the unofficial, unsanctioned, uncensored blog of THE LABEL, I can call myself whatever the hell I want.
In case any of you are wondering, yes, I am indeed, the one and only, Keith Wong the King. But fret not, this blog isn't another Portal for the Self-Absorbed. It is merely an avenue for us to promote THE LABEL and it's artists and CDs, and of course, to amuse ourselves.
"Ourselves"? That's right, folks; THE LABEL isn't run by me alone. There're two other guys here, Jessel - our General Manager (GM) and Tong Wai, our audio engineer. You will hear from these two bloody buggers soon.
Now, contrary to popular belief, we do not merely sit around and blast rock music and play Counter Strike all day. We have tons of work to do. I, for one, have to handle every aspect of marketing; that includes (and is not limited to) advertising, PR, design, events, sponsorships, distribution and sales. Tong Wai and Jessel, on the other hand, have to handle bands, record them, and mix their tracks so that they are presentable on the album. In fact, in a couple of days, those two guys are going to Changi Prison to help them record some Christmas album, leaving me all alone in the office to handle the marketing aspect of things.
Coming back to the subject of this blog, since this is the unofficial, unsanctioned, uncensored blog for THE LABEL, we will be - aside from shamelessly promoting ourselves and our bands/albums - posting all sorts of nonsensical musings, so check back here regularly.
Rock N' Roll, bitches.
